What is AAS Vidyalaya?

AAS Vidyalaya is an ed-tech start-up that aims to take the school virtually to all those who do not have access to school. Established in 2017, The Anytime Anywhere School is funded by the department of science & technology, Government of India. It is funded through its NIDHI scheme (National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations- Seed Support System). It provides 10000+ video classes of different education boards and 50000+ Q&A’s and easy accessibility to teachers. The main aim is to ensure continuity of education for students. They conducted a market research and found that only 3 out of 10 students pass out class 10. The other 7 either do not have access to school or drop out. There are various reasons behind such disparity- personal and socio-economic problems. Because of this disparity the issue is prevalent all over India but mostly in smaller towns and rural areas.

This whole ides of solving problem for students who not have the access to school inspired the Sharks. As a result Vikas Kakawani and Leena Kakawani’s AAS Vidyalaya grabbed the highest deal of Shark Tank India, a whooping 1.5 Crores.
